The Barackopolis

This is one of the first pictures of the stage being assembled for Barack Obama's acceptance speech tonight. The address will be given in front of a crowd of 75,000 and a global audience of millions.

Republicans have already begun attacking the event - mocking that the stage is an “emperor-like” backdrop. VP hopefull, Governor Tim Pawlenty quipped that “as with the facade, there’s not much behind it.”

I am a little bit too excited about this speech.

this is going to be a mistake. I am sure pre-Berlin it seemed like a good idea, but now it just plays into the idea that he is a little arrogant. Not saying I believe that, but just saying!
